AI has become increasingly valuable for security applications due to its adaptability and pattern recognition capabilities. AI can identify threats more effectively than human analysts.
Several positive applications include biometric security enhancements using typing dynamics, facial recognition, and gait analysis for sophisticated user verification. AI also enables malware behavior recognition by studying previous attack patterns and rapidly isolating new threats. Natural language processing helps security professionals stay informed about emerging vulnerabilities by analyzing vast amounts of research. Additionally, dynamic multi-factor authentication adjusts access privileges based on user location, network, and behavioral patterns in real time.
AI requires substantial training data and computing resources that many organizations cannot afford. Hackers can also develop AI-enhanced malware designed to evade detection, potentially rendering traditional defenses increasingly vulnerable.
